Moscow State University by M. V. Lomonosov Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics together with the Mathematical Institute of Russian Academy by V. A. Steklov conducted an international scientific conference Actual problems of the theory of partial differential equations, dedicated to the memory of academician Bitsadze.
May 22, 2016, will be 100 years since the birth of the outstanding mathematician, the largest research scientist, Corresponding Member of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1958), academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Georgian SSR (1969), corresponding member of Russian Academy of Sciences (1991), Honored Scientist of the Georgian SSR Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Andrey Vasilyevich Bitsadze (05/22/1916 city - 06.09.1994 city).
Work Experience Andrei Vasilyevich began very early. After graduating from Chiatura Pedagogical College, he was sixteen years worked as a teacher of mathematics and physics in junior high school sat Tshrukveti, Chala and Nigozeti his native Chiatura district. From 1935 to 1940 A.V.Bitsadze was a student of physics and mathematics faculty of Tbilisi State University. In 1940 Andrey V. graduated from the University, "Mathematics", he entered the graduate school of Tbilisi Mathematics Institute, Academy of Sciences of the Georgian SSR. In 1945, AV Bitsadze defended his thesis on the topic "Overview of solutions of elliptic systems of differential equations and their applications", and continued to work at the institute until 1948.
